Brought up as a fluent Gaelic speaker, Calum Macleod has been playing various instruments including Clarsach, Pedal Harp, Percussion, Accordion & Piano from a very early age. His debut solo album was launched in 2015 and featured himself multi-tracked across his numerous instruments. 2015 also saw the birth of his duo Nodha which performed at the Lancaster Jazz Festival as part of the Young Jazz Commission Award. As a multi-instrumental freelance musician based in Edinburgh, Calum enjoys a mix of solo, orchestral, pit band, sound engineering and teaching work.
