Sarah Northcott is one of the Scots Music Group’s most experienced and popular tutors, equally at home with straight fiddle tuition, mixed instrument groups and music theory workshops. Sarah plays with The Robert Fish Band, The Little Biggar Band, and as a duo with Matt Smith.

Sarah is the author of “Beginning to Read Music for Traditional Musicians”, which explains the basics of written music in simple, jargon-free language. You can buy it from Sarah’s website hartreemusic.co.uk

As of February 2020 Sarah is Scots Music Group’s interim Development Worker.
