We offer a variety of payment methods for SMG classes and membership.

Online by debit or credit card, via the class booking system, which will take you to PayPal to check out. You don’t need a PayPal account to use this method*, but if you’ve got one, just log in to PayPal as normal.

By internet banking / bank transfer
– Please contact the office first for our account details. We will confirm the amount and give you a reference to add to the payment.

By cheque, made out to Scots Music Group, sent to: Office 1F6, Eric Liddell Centre, 15 Morningside Road, EH10 4DP. Please call to check the amount due if you’re unsure, and enclose a note of the class and/or membership you require.

By cash in person at the SMG office – we’re usually open Tues to Thurs 10am – 4pm but please phone ahead to make an appointment where possible.

Please note – due to a change in the security requirements relating to the Payment Card Industry Security Standards Council, we are no longer able to take payments by debit or credit card over the phone or in the office. There is a Royal Bank of Scotland cash machine a short walk away on Bruntsfield Place, should you wish to make a cash payment in person.

*PayPal – We have been made aware that after a certain number of uses of the PayPal payment method by non-account holders, (on our website and any other sites that use this feature), you may be asked to sign up for a PayPal account. We use PayPal as it gives charities like us a substantial reduction on transaction fees; this saves us a great deal of money over the year, allowing us to put more into our class programme.

Ceilidh tickets are only bookable online via PayPal. Other payment methods are available by arrangement with the SMG office. Please note St Bride’s Centre no longer offer a box office facility to buy tickets at the venue in advance. Cash payments only on the night, if there are still tickets on the door.
