Whistle 2 – Improving Beginners

Aimed at students with some experience, including those who feel ready to move up from last year’s beginner classes. We will develop upon the basic understanding of the tin whistle, taking players into a slightly more diverse and technical tune territory, while moving at a pace suited to all involved. Some straightforward traditional music will be introduced along with some contemporary melodies. Technique will be developed further and opportunities for practising sets of tunes in a group will also be encouraged.
