Led by musical director Corrina Hewat and featuring traditional singer Scott Gardiner, Sangstream folk choir observes Scotland’s Year of Young People. Join them in an exploration of contemporary and traditional song, poetry and narrative, highlighting the diverse life experiences of children and young people over time.
Saturday 5th May :: street performance for May Day – MUSICIANS & MUMMERS
Wanted! Performers on all instruments suited for street parties – Brass, Reeds, Pipes (A, D, C), Accordions, Shawms, Drums, Percussion – and people who like costuming, dancing and acting out. Join in with some classic Scots tunes and songs and make them wild for the May Day/Beltane celebrations, with some classic street theatre texts.
