James Hogg – The Forest Minstrel

Sheena Wellington leads a workshop considering the life and work of James Hogg, shepherd, autodidact, collector, songwriter, groundbreaking author and occasional scandaliser of polite society.  With the aid of his songs, written and collected, and his life story, Sheena will explore Hogg’s importance in Scotland’s culture.

Cost: £16 / £10 concession / £5 unwaged
