Saturday 29th April :: SMG fundraising ceilidh with Matthew Maclennan Ceilidh Band

“..the hottest ceilidh tickets in town”

Sunday 30th April :: Inspire Songbook launch

The launch of the Inspire Project Songbook, featuring songs, stories and images from the SMG community project. Includes performances by Inspire groups plus special guests! Inspire works with a variety of support organisations around Edinburgh, encouraging people to get involved in music and share their stories, songs and tunes.

Monday 1st May :: The Flooers o’ May

 A fundraiser for Scots Music Group featuring  Karine Polwart reuniting with her old Malinky bandmate and SMG Development Worker Steve Byrne for a one-off duet, fiddler extraordinaire Adam Sutherland,  singer Mairi Campbell and pipe and fiddle maestros Fin Moore and Sarah Hoy.

Tuesday 2nd May :: Cafe Ceilidh

All welcome to join friends from SMG for an afternoon session of traditional songs, music, poems and stories. Held in the relaxed setting of the Storytelling Court.

Also our friends Sangstream have a concert at the Storytelling Centre featuring songs from the alehouses, clubs and salons of the Scottish Enlightenment;
