Sunday 26th February 2017
1.30pm for 2pm start
Christ Church Morningside, 6a Morningside Road, Edinburgh EH10 4DD
The SMG Board are pleased to invite all 2016/17 members to attend the Scots Music Group AGM.
The afternoon commences at 1.30pm with refreshments and music. The formal AGM will commence at 2.00pm.
The meeting will finish with a session so please bring your instrument & voice and join in!
After the formal business is concluded there will be a short presentation from Dave Francis, of the Traditional Music Forum, on the possibility of creating a “college” of Scottish traditional music based on virtual networking between community music organisations.
The AGM is a vital part of representing our members’ interests and it is essential that enough members attend so that the meeting is quorate. We would appreciate members finding time to come along to support SMG’s volunteer board in running the organisation and developing its work in the community.
All members are very welcome.
