SUMMER SONG GATHERING WITH MARY MCCANN
ON THE THEMES OF SUMMER, THE NATURAL WORLD AND SAVING THE PLANET

Saturday15th July 2023, 10.30 am till 1 pm
Christ Church Centre, Holy Corner, 6a Morningside Roadd Edinburgh
 
​Come and join in a friendly, informal gathering on the themes of Summer, the Natural World and Saving the Planet.  Mary will lead some warm ups and rounds, and one or two songs chosen from Gloomy Winter’s Noo Awa (Robert Tannahill), Westlin Winds (Robert Burns) and River Chat (John Warner).
Words supplied, learning by ear, open to all. 
We’ll also sing along to some old favourites from the SMG songbooks and turns (songs or tunes) and offers to lead songs are very welcome.
 
Donations to SMG funds, either in cash at the door or online at the SMG website, www.scotsmusic.org, gratefully received.
