TUESDAY MORNINGS, 10.30am – 11.30am
Tues 12th Sept to 5th Dec 2017 (except 17th Oct half-term)
12 weeks

A fun singing class for pre-school children, learning beautiful and lively traditional Scottish songs, in the Scots language. Led by renowned professional singer and Scots Song tutor, Amy Lord, the songs are taught using repetition to ensure quick and easy participation, with loads of actions and interactive games woven in to help with learning the words.

ALL WELCOME – no knowledge of Scots or musical experience needed.

We use Scots words in amongst our speech, in a completely informal way, always explaining the meaning if needed. The whole class is a really enjoyable way to learn some words and songs from Scotland’s rich heritage.

Accompanying adults are most welcome to join in!

Sessions run from 10.30am-11.30am, with teaching time of approx 45 mins, leaving time for settling in at the start and interaction at the end.

Written wordsheets will be given in case you want to practise at home (completely optional).

Sessions are £6 per child with parent/carer, payable on the door.
Water / juice and snacks provided for children.
