The Scots Fiddle Festival runs from 18th – 20th November with a great range of concerts, recitals, workshops, talks, ceilidhs, stalls and much more happening at Summerhall and The Queen’s Hall. This year’s festival is extra special as it celebrates it’s  20th anniversary and has a extra special line up to celebrate this including a special Saturday night concert with 6 leading fiddlers – Aonghas Grant, Catriona Macdonald, Aidan O’Rourke, Liz Doherty, Paul Anderson and Chris Stout, along with percussionist Allan MacDonald and pianist Mhairi to put together what will be a truly unique concert. On top of this there are many other great concerts and much, much more, see the website for the full program.

Tickets are available online through the website or in person or on the phone from The Queen’s Hall box office (0131 668 2019).

The Scots Fiddle Festival is run by a dedicated volunteer committee and they are very grateful for the support they get from the National Lottery through Creative Scotland, The City of Edinburgh Council, Foyle Foundation, Hugh Fraser Foundation and The Ernest Cook Trust plus donations from The Scottish Fiddle Orchestra and Eskmills, and their partners – Glasgow Fiddle Workshop, Stringers Edinburgh-London and Fèis Dhùn Èideann.
