Mhari Duncan

Mhari Duncan has been playing the fiddle since the age of eight and was taught by Yla Steven. She is an accomplished musician with varied experience as a solo and group performer. She plays regularly with ceilidh bands and the Scottish Fiddle Orchestra. She also performs in the Taste of Scotland show at Prestonfield House.

It was whilst living in Canada that Mhari first taught fiddle, introducing players to Scottish fiddle and dance music. She has been teaching absolute beginners fiddle at the Scots Music Group since January 2007.
