Donald Gorman
Donald has been playing the fiddle for about 44 years and isn’t fed up with it yet. Like several other tutors he was taught in the north east style by Yla Steven .He went on to broaden his fiddle experience in student bands at the crown folk club and with Edinburgh Shetland Fiddlers which he still attends. Later he played for many years in the successful band Seannachie.
This is his second spell as a tutor and he likes trying to help students improve their technique while enjoying all the fun on offer from playing scots fiddle together.He now plays in the band Curmudgeon and tries not to live up to the name.
In his spare time Donald is a GP.
