Song - Linten Adie 10.30
We work on a wide variety of (mainly) Scots songs in a lively and sociable group. The group learns songs by ear and performs at occasional community events.
Feel like singing but not too confident? Want to develop your repertoire and learn new styles?
Whatever your interest or ability, we’ll have something to suit you.

We’re starting a brand new community choir – be in at the beginning!
This will be a different kind of choir, singing a wide variety of songs. Part sing-song (with any songs you’d like to bring along) part learning arranged harmonies (with lots of help, support and encouragement) and a chance to try singing in smaller groups if you want to. Everyone’s welcome – no particular skills necessary. Only condition – willingness to listen and have ago!
Relaxing, cheerful and tailored to suit all levels, this upbeat class will lift your spirits. Professional vocal tips, a varied repertoire of songs (the choice is influenced by the group), lovely melodies and harmonies – and the thrill of singing well together!
A lively, fun and friendly group learning great traditional songs. Songs from the Scottish Traveller Tradition, Burns songs, Edinburgh songs, children’s songs…
We also do easy warm-ups, rounds and harmonies, and occasional community performances.
Suitable for beginners and experienced singers, no need to read music, new members welcome.
You will focus on finding (preferably Scots) songs you would like to perform, and work towards being able to sing them, and accompany them, with confidence and conviction. Suitable for folk who can play C, Am, F and G, or G, Em, C and D.
