The Big Seat by the Fire runs from October to May, with a break over the summer months
This is a supportive space to try out your performance skills …or just come along to listen.

The big Seat by the Fire is held in the cafe (on the ground floor) at St George’s West on the second Sunday of the month during term time. (All dates for this year are shown at the foot of this page)

Doors open at 7pm, with performances from 7.15pm. If you are not performing, feel free to bring your instrument (and/or your voice!) to join us in a short session at the end of the evening, which will finish by 11pm

If you would like a ten minute performance slot please come along on the evening and they will be allocated on a first come first served basis!

There is no bar in St George’s Church West, so please bring your own refreshments
