On Wednesday 7th October SMG musicians and dancers took part in filming for a BBC programme called 'Democracy in Action’, which is a series of films made by the BBC for the citizenship curriculum, to help in the teaching of politics in schools. The programme will be broadcast early next year. The film crew were rather creatively using ceilidh dancers to demonstrate the Single Transferrable Vote system!
