We have been awarded £6,000 development funding from the Scottish Arts Council for a pilot project, which will involve running traditional music workshops with people who are isolated. If the pilot project is successful, we would then be awarded the full grant of over £60,000.

While this is good news, in that it may allow us to help make traditional music accessible to more people, it doesn’t cover the core funding that we will lose from the end of March 2009
