Membership lasts for one year and runs from from 1 August to 31 July You can buy your membership online via the link above
You do not need to be an SMG Member to enrol in an SMG class, buy a book or attend a ceilidh but SMG membership will give you around 15% discount on all SMG classes, workshops, and shop items as well as other benefits – see below.
You will receive a card as confirmation of your membership. With your Membership Card you will get the following benefits:
- A vote at the Scots Music Group AGM and EGM
- Discounts on all Scots Music Group classes and workshops
- Discounts on all Scots Music Group publications and recordings
- Discounts at many shops and companies
- Occasional offers (eg discounts on tickets)
- The satisfaction of supporting the Scots Music Group!
Membership Card
If you enrol into an SMG class at least two weeks before the start of term, you will receive your Membership Card at your first class. We will post cards out to anyone who becomes a member and is not attending a class
