I don’t have a partner to dance with…can I come along on my own?

Yes! There is no need to bring a partner. All our ceilidhs are relaxed and welcoming, so whether you come alone or with friends, we’ll soon have you birling on the dance floor!

I’ve never been to a ceilidh before….how will I know what to do?

At Scots Music Group ceilidhs, our bands have experienced callers who will walk you through dances before you start.

What should I wear?

Our ceilidhs are informal, so wear clothing you are comfortable with. Remember it can get very warm with all the dancing!
