Drop in and have a go!
From 11am to 4pm, we’re running taster workshops in a variety of instruments, song and dance with demonstrations, great live music, and information and advice from experienced tutors and people who are already learning with the Scots Music Group.
And it’s all completely free!
Here are the workshop times:
Accordion 12 & 1.30pm
Chanter 2pm
Whistle 12.30 & 3pm
Mandolin 1.30pm
Fiddle 12 & 2pm
Bodhran 12 & 2pm
Song 12.30 & 3pm
The tutors for the above workshops will be available to chat from 11am and at other times during the day.
Step Dance 2.30pm
There are also sessions running so bring an instrument or your voice and join in!
Slow Session 11am-12pm
Linten Adie – Singing Session 12-1pm
Mixed Instrument Session 1-2pm
Finally there will be a tutor session starting at 3.30pm to round off the day.
