2009 is the Homecoming Year, get ready in case you are called on to suggest and lead relevant songs in a family reunion, song group or in working with children.
This workshop will focus on the joy of singing together, whatever your voice quality or knowledge of songs. They will increase your song repertoire and remind you of some old favourites.
Ewan McVicar has sung, broadcast, taught and told stories all round the world. Many of his songs, including ‘Shift and Spin’ and ‘All The Tunes In The World’, have been recorded, and he has written several books about various aspects of Scottish song and music. He helped start the first folk club in Glasgow and was founder chairman of Linlithgow’s Sangschule song group.
