With Ali Burns
Robert Burns left us a huge legacy of songs and in this workshop Ali Burns will be taking you on an excursion back to the 18th Century to explore that treasure trove of well and lesser known gems. The workshop will be interspersed with background stories and historic narrative. Songs will be taught by ear but music will also be available.
Ali Burns is a writer and arranger for choirs and is known throughout Britain for her inspirational workshops and easy teaching style. You can hear her songs in diverse settings such as public art installations, theatre or in the repertoire and recordings of many community choirs.
This workshop is repeated in the afternoon.
