This class will look at more advanced fiddle techniques such as playing in more unusual keys, third position, more complex bowing patterns and strathspeys, whilst learning good tunes

Do you know lots of tunes but feel that you don’t quite make them sound like Aly Bain/Alasdair Fraser/Natalie MacMaster/Martin Hayes? If so, this may just be the class for you.
The emphasis of the class will be technique through tunes. Topics covered will include posture, better use of the bow and left-hand techniques such as third position. Beware, scales will be a must!
