Dance - Scottish Step Dance - Intermediate 7pm
For the summer term 2010, the class will run from 7- 8pm
This class will focus on developing existing skills and becoming more creative with steps, working on improvisation and exploring more complex percussive rhythms, and will also develop and create new steps and patterns. We have live fiddle music to accompany the class.
Wear hard soled shoes that make a good clatter (no taps or segs please)
There will be a strong emphasis on the links between the rhythms of the dance and the music, and the importance of improvising and interaction between the dancer and the musician.
